It's been a busy day in Grade 5 today! Miss Peters (our MRU student teacher) was with us this morning. She helped us with reading, the beginnings of our "I Am" poems and she led our gym class with a game of Swamp ball. Mrs.Ferrari worked with our class to teach them different techniques with watercolors. We learned about wet on dry, dry on dry and wet on wet. She also talked about perspective and gave us tips to create our landscapes. Check out some of our experimentations in the photos below! We took our Fun Lunches off to the ridge and spent the afternoon with Ms. Hammond exploring the pond for our wetlands study. Many thanks to the parents who were able to help us today!
