Apologies for the technical difficulties with our blog last week! Hopefully, everything is up, running and back to normal this week!
This morning, we used our observation skills to study the shape of the "land" of Canada to continue to familiarize ourselves with this. Parents!!:) We have homework for you:)) We challenge you to do your best to draw a map of our country from memory. Please send this back with your child this week! Thank you! We started working on developing paragraphs with topic sentences, supporting details and a concluding sentence. This will continue to be our writing focus over the next couple of weeks. We had "library" time to choose/switch books today. This is our last week of throwing/catching skills in gym.
In math, we are working on decimals and place value. In science, we continue to work on a wetland project, "Wetland Occupancy," where the students are applying to live in the wetlands as an actual animal or plant.
