*Important reminders for the week:
-Tomorrow is our Remembrance Day Assembly starting @ 10:45. We hope you are able to join us. The Grade 3/4 classes will be leading our presentation.
-Poppies will be handed out to all students tomorrow morning. Donations are welcome, as students will make their way to classrooms for poppy donations in the morning.
-Thank you to all those who have contributed to our Veteran Food Bank.
-Please remember there is no school on Friday, November 11 for Remembrance Day.
-Parent Council Meeting tonight @6:30pm

Quote Reflections are due tomorrow
*Democracy Paragraph and Checklists are due tomorrow. We have been working on writing proper paragraphs including topic sentences, supporting sentences and concluding sentences. Students have a checklist to use to ensure they meet task expectations.
We will have approximately 1/2 an hour class time for the above assignments. If more time is needed, please ensure these assignments are brought home to work on. Thank you.

Hi! it’s the Give POWer Hour to tell you about our next charity we are supporting.
The Calgary poppy fund supports the veterans and their dependent’s no matter their age. We are collecting non-perishable food (which means it does not go bad).
There are not only old veterans but also young ones too
with young families. Please donate baby food crackers,
cereal, diapers, toilet paper, and paper towel.
They are really really in need of these items.
