*Some of us have some Number the Stars homework to complete at home. All questions up to Chapter 6 due tomorrow! Thank you!
*We finished watching a video on the aerial view of Canada related to our study of the physical geography of Canada. While watching this, we discussed the 6 different regions of Canada, where the regions are located, which provinces are part of which region, natural resources, industries, recreation an more. We watched the video with the intent of choosing a region for an inquiry project. Students, please come to school tomorrow with an idea of which region you are interested in!
Some of the conclusions drawn from the video today were:
"The land in Canada is cool because each region is different. I also noticed farming in the regions. I see in the regions lot of recreation, people have fun and the land shows what our culture is." AD
"Canada's land is extraordinary in it's beauty" RD
"The land of Canada is flat with trees that grow high and wild life roaming free. It is cold in the snowy mountains." JB
"The land of Canada is amazing! Now I want to travel all over it because it's just so beautiful, snowy and full of culture!" LS
"The Canadian land is diverse. All of the land of Canada is unique. Each province has an interesting piece but they all are tied together from the Canadian culture." CZ
