We started our morning with our CHF books. We are hoping to be finished these books in approximately two weeks. We discussed ways to approximate about how much reading we need to do each night. Students, let me know tomorrow, what your plan is and about how many minutes (or chapters) you plan to read each day! Please make sure you keep your books signed out, as we will shortly introduce our book report and project! For word work today, we worked on changing the y to i! Our teacher has spotted a lot of spelling errors in our work that this rule can help us fix! During tomorrow's SS class, we will have one last opportunity to prepare for our Region presentations. We started using cue cards to prepare ourselves for this. It's great to see all the figurative language and literary devices that our students are able to identify. WE have been sharing poems and writing our own poems. Today, we started to write a simile poem.
