Well done to our class to almost EVERYONE making it to school today...even our far commuters! We had the least number of students away today in our class... so we are the first class who gets to try the NEW SCHOOL SNOWSHOES! Our hope is to get out tomorrow to try them out! Students, please come prepared for the cold and snow. Remember snow pants, jackets, gloves, toques, and winter boots! We will hope to go out, but we will keep our eye on the weather and plan accordingly!
We are working on our SS region projects. We will have approximately an hour tomorrow for this. Most of us were on the edge of our seats today, as we read chapter five, in Number the Stars! Parents! Ask us what happened when the soldiers came to search the Johansen's apartment!
Reminders:
*Science experiments presentations start on Monday
*Next week, please remember we have a short week! Wednesday is half day (we are finished at 11:45am), and there is no school Thursday/Friday (Teachers Convention) or Monday (Family Day).
*Remember to bring winter wear for snowshoeing tomorrow!
*We will be having a small half hour Valentine celebration on Wednesday. Students are welcome to hand out Valentine cards, as long as they include everybody. Thank you to those of you who are providing us with snacks!
