Sorry for no blog last night. We had a few technology issues! We had a fabulous 3 days and 2 nights at camp. We hope that you heard some of the kids favorite stories and memories. The setting was beautiful and our Parks Canada Interpreters delivered a program of expertise:)

*HOMEWORK: I asked all students to bring their Sketchbooks home to complete their Waterton Brainstorm. Remember to use the guidelines for Sketchbook work we glued in at the front of our Sketchbooks. Final due date for this is Tuesday.
On Tue. Oct. 6 at 8:45am we will be holding an assembly to celebrate Mrs. Morin. She was one of the winners of the Canadian Family Teacher Awards. They will be here to present her with the cheque for the money she has won for the school. She has already put some of the money to good use with the purchase of a set of yoga mats for student and staff use.

Back at school, we are busy debriefing our Waterton Trip and carrying on with previous activities including developing descriptive writing, applying latitude and longitude to maps, and preparing for our upcoming novel study of Number the Stars.
